General elections were held in Botswana on 20 October 1969. With 230,231 registered voters, turnout was 58.42%.[1] The result was a third successive landslide victory for the Botswana Democratic Party, who won 29 of the 32 elected seats,[2] including two in which they were unopposed.[3]
